Working from Home benefits
Previously only the preserve of the Senior Manager, working from home was always mistrusted, but now, due to the advances in technology and personnel management, working from home is perfect for every office worker. Most organisations have a limited home-based working policy in place. Many offer this to staff at any level within the organsation. Speak to your Line Manager or HR Manager about working from home. By requesting a Henley Office when you work from home, both you and your employer benefit from the best of both worlds. NOTE: Many employers offer a tax friendly "salary sacrifice" option on providing financial support for the costs involved in homeworking. For example, if you are currently paying rail fares/parking fees yourself and choose to work from home as a cost saving measure your employer may become unwilling to pay directly for a Henley for you. However you may decide to sacrifice a small amount of your salary to enable your employer to provide a Henley to you - but not as a benefit in kind. It is a cost efficient and tax effiecient method of reducing your own personal costs and can encourage your employer further to engage in a home based working policy.
