Double page spread (p96) extracts ...Because at the bottom of my little garden I have built an office. I say "built" - I made a phone call and wrote a cheque. What arrived was a ready made "personal office solution" from a company called Henley Offices....

It required no foundations and no planning permission. To call it a shed would be like calling Kate Moss a coat hanger - my garden office is my HQ my think place, my second home. It short it has revolutionised my (admittedly rather limited) world....

It could only be improved with vertical take-off and a lav....

Also, pricelessly, the office has given me something new to talk about, now the Osama jokes have lost their sparkle. Very few people at parties can recall what I do, who I am or where they've met me, but like a new pet, everyone wants to talk uber-shed.
